RE: Technical Report of Results from Tests of the RADICAL SR3 RSX 2022 vehicle from the NIKO RACING TEAM in the FL category of the CNA (National Automotive Championship) Colombia 2024

CERTIFICATE OF APPLICATION OF DURAVI LUBRICANT ON THE HAYABUSA 1440 CC ENGINE OF THE RADICAL SR3 RSX PRIOR TO THE SEPTEMBER COMPETITION

To confirm the document, its applications, and other details, on August 21 of this year, the RADICAL SR3 RSX race car was taken to the facilities of Mr. Claudio Rozo in the city of Bogotá, at an altitude of 2,625 meters above sea level, for a roller dynamometer test to measure rear-wheel power. At approximately 3:32 p.m., a series of tests were conducted using a Dyno Dynamics dynamometer, yielding the following results:

  1. Pre-treatment tests were conducted before applying the DURAVI treatment, where the vehicle achieved 164 bhp at 100 lbs-ft of torque and temperatures of 115 degrees Celsius in the engine. Later, at 4:45 p.m., after allowing a reasonable amount of time for the engine to cool down, the DURAVI treatment was applied via the engine oil, diluted in the recommended amounts according to the manufacturer’s specifications (DURAVI) to determine its effect on the components that were treated. The oil had been used for approximately 7 hours (around 110 km).

  1. Another identical test was performed to compare results, and it was concluded that: the vehicle showed a significant reduction in temperatures, with engine temperatures decreasing to 105 degrees Celsius and power increasing to 168.7 bhp at 105 lbs-ft of torque.

  1. Another test was carried out, this time applying the DURAVI treatment to the vehicle’s gearbox. After waiting 30 minutes from the time of application to the start of the test, it was observed that: the vehicle also showed a reduction in gearbox oil temperatures and an increase in power to 170.7 bhp at 110 lbs-ft of torque. Additionally, gear changes improved both uphill and downhill. Therefore, based on the three tests conducted, it can be concluded that:

  1. The DURAVI treatment in the RADICAL SR3 RSX race car significantly improved performance by reducing temperatures in both the engine and gearbox and lowering friction, resulting in increased power and torque in its 1440 CC engine.

On the 22nd, this report certifies the proven results for both the engine and gearbox during field tests at the AUTODROMO DE TOCANCIPA race circuit, achieving the following results:

  1. The first track session consisted of 7 laps (19 km) prior to the application of the DURAVI treatment, recording a lap time of 1:09.549 on a 2,725-meter track, with top speeds of 183.2 kph and an average engine temperature of 102 degrees Celsius. The DURAVI treatment was then applied to the engine oil (2 oz per 8 quarts of oil), and the car returned to the track, achieving a faster lap time of 1:08.379, with a significant temperature reduction to 95 degrees Celsius and a higher top speed of 186.7 kph.

  1. The car then entered the pits, where all the oil was drained and replaced with new Motul 300v Racing oil. The DURAVI treatment was applied again, and the engine was left running for 30 minutes before returning to the track for another test.

  1. The vehicle returned to the track for a third test, this time using a DURAVI treatment at a ratio of 1 oz per 8 quarts of engine oil. The car recorded a lap time of 1:07.887, with an average top speed of 189.3 kph and an engine temperature of 94 degrees Celsius.

In conclusion, based on the two key tests conducted on the vehicle, it can be concluded that the DURAVI treatment for both the gearbox and engine oil does provide benefits to the vehicle’s performance, showing a gradual and sustained reduction in temperatures and friction while the car operates at over 10,500 RPM and speeds exceeding 170 kph.
